As nursing remains a scarce skill in South Africa, these bursaries serve as a tool for members to specialize in fields such as psychiatric nursing, community health, and clinical masters programs.

Key Benefits of the DENOSA Study Fund

The primary goal of the fund is to provide financial relief to dedicated nurses.

  • Financial Assistance: Though the amounts are typically small and cover only a portion of expenses, they provide a necessary boost for tuition and study-related costs.
  • Career Advancement: Funding is available for a variety of courses that help nurses climb the professional ladder and improve patient care standards.
  • Specialization Support: The fund prioritizes courses that align with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) standards.
